As a brand ambassador for global beauty brand L'Oréal Paris, actress Aja Naomi King has consistently aligned herself with the brand's mission to help women understand their self-worth. For their latest campaign, King is helping to amplify the Women of Worth program. A philanthropic initiative aiming to champion the unwavering resilience and hard work of the everyday woman.
King's partnership with L'Oréal Paris is consistent with previous campaigns she's participated in, where she's able to amplify the work and beauty of women everywhere. Her genuine support for this new campaign is an extension of her activism on behalf of her community.
"Each year, L’Oréal Paris recognizes ten extraordinary women from across the country who turn their purpose into action through charitable giving. As a L’Oréal Paris spokeswoman, there’s nothing I take pride in more than using my platform to elevate the work of these everyday heroes," she tells us. "They show us the power each one of us can make in the lives of others when we own our power and self-worth."
Each year, L'Oréal Paris spotlights a group of nominated women who strive to be change-makers in their communities. Who also embrace their own worth; while inspiring others to do the same. King's involvement in the program is fueled by her desire to see other women get the credit they deserve for all of their sacrifices they make every day.
"For over 16 years, the Women of Worth program has provided women with invaluable resources to support their charitable endeavors, including funding, a national platform to share their story, and network opportunities to create an even greater impact," she shared.

L'Oréal Paris will once again team up with nonprofit organization Points of Light to help find this year's ten honorees. In addition to financial support, the Women of Worth program will also provide each honoree with a national platform to share their stories and build a strong network to help amplify their cause to make an even more significant impact on others.
