Condé Nast has some of the biggest names under its belt, and as of October 18th, it will have another big hitter. As Teen Vogue’s Phillip Picardi steps down from his Chief Content Officer position, the company announces the welcoming of Lindsay Peoples Wagner as Teen Vogue’s new Editor-in-Chief.

With major changes already in full swing at this American publication — Business of Fashion stated that Teen Vogue has discontinued their print activities — Peoples Wagner is set to “oversee digital, social, video and events including the Teen Vogue Summit,” according to BoF.

Peoples Wagner will join the Teen Vogue team as they transition entirely to digital media, something that has caused a dip in the revenue Teen Vogue made via advertising. Condé Nast's latest mission seeks to reduce costs within the company while continuing to grow digital revenue, ultimately returning the company to profitability in 2020.

Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue and Artistic Director of Condé Nast, spoke highly of Peoples Wagner:

“Lindsay is a gifted talent who can equally inspire and challenge her audiences. She brings a sophistication and fresh perspective to the cultural moments and social themes that activate our Teen Vogue readers and we are very excited to have her back at Condé Nast,” shared Wintour in a statement.
