For Atlanta natives and visitors, a new upscale breakfast cafe has arrived to treat your taste buds. Gocha Hawkins, celebrity hairstylist to stars like Nicki Minaj, Kandi Burruss, Serena Williams, Beyoncé and more, is on a mission to bring delicious Southern-style pescatarian and vegan-friendly meals to the Cascade area. With a specialized menu that includes shrimp and grits, “Krunch-Tastic” French Toast, “Better Than Yo Momma” Biscuits, “Gocha’s Impossible Burger,” Chicken & Waffles, and Candied Maple Bacon, Gocha's Breakfast Bar is sure to have your stomach begging for more!

As Christopher A. Daniel from Black Enterprise reports, Hawkins' sole desire is for the customer to have an enjoyable experience each time they come. “We want to make sure that the guest is greeted on time," Hawkins revealed to Black Enterprise. "We want to make sure that the food is coming out in a timely fashion. We want to make sure that we’re having quality [and consistent] food.”

Prior to launching Gocha's Breakfast Bar, Hawkins opened Gocha Salon in May 2011 for Black women and men seeking "cutting edge hairstyle trends and techniques within the beauty industry." Today, as the owner of two thriving businesses, Hawkins told Black Enterprise the key to balancing her role as an entrepreneur lies "rooted in three elements: having a vision, creating a strategy, and the ability to execute the idea."
