A few months ago, Gabrielle Union-Wade sat on the set of NBC’s Today and shared how joy, peace and grace were transforming her life. Since then, several things have changed for the 46-year-old actress, including becoming a mother!

After experiencing several miscarriages in the past, through the help of a surrogate the Wades recently welcomed their new baby girl to the world, offering Union-Wade the opportunity to mother a child with her husband Dwyane Wade.

Also in the spirit of new beginnings, Union-Wade’s new holiday collection with New York & Company just dropped, right in time for Black Friday!

The ad for the collection features actresses Valarie Pettiford, Raven Goodwin, Essence Atkins and Ajiona Alexu. Promotion for this line continues to push her #AllTogetherNow message, which celebrates the diversity of women. The pieces range from extra small to plus size with variations including petite, average and tall.

If you’re looking for sophisticated, sexy and sparkle, this collection is for you! With prices ranging from $49.95 to $199.95, you can afford to stay on budget or treat-yo-self to a higher-priced, unique item. From the multi-colored sequin pencil skirt, to the silver jumpsuit, the festive sweaters and everything in between, there is something for everyone and every body in this collection.

Union-Wade spoke to The Grio and shared that this particular line was an ode to her love for holiday-wear.

“When we were creating the pieces, I kept envisioning what I love to wear during this time of year. The vibrant red is used throughout this collection as well as the use of metallic and sequins. Customers really loved my sequin pieces in the past so I listened and we are bringing you more in this holiday collection. I love a good statement jumpsuit and we have a few available. There are also some great cozy sweaters and pants. You can wear the pieces to holiday dinners or to ring in the New Year. There’s something for everyone.”

She also made it a point to include pieces that could be mixed-and-matched and could be worn day or night, or day into night.

“What’s great about this collection and my past ones is that I’m creating pieces that you can mix-and-match. I want customers to have fun with it and I love when I see women that tag me in photos wearing the collection. It’s cool to see how they styled it and put their own spin on it. There is an amazing jacquard silver suit that you can wear to work and at night, take off the jacket and pair the pants with a black shirred blouse.”

For Union-Wade, it was important to stick to her goal of creating an inclusive and cost-effective collection that allows you to “live your best life without the clothes breaking the budget or feeling like they are attacking you.”

In our opinion, once again, she hit the nail right on the head and we cannot wait to see all the ladies who will be stylin’ and profilin’ in these pieces.
