For professional Black women in business, the sky is the limit, and there's no putting a cap on our extraordinary talents. For Dr. Nicole Williams and Budzy Box founder Shatoia Robinson, these two prove all the stellar things we're capable of accomplishing across the medical, retail, and philanthropic industries.

Dr. Williams, who opened the Gynecology Institute of Chicago back in 2013, started her own business with a goal to merge Eastern and Western medicine for a unique approach to women's health recovery. Unlike other practices, Dr. Williams' institute uses a team effort to reimagine women's health and wellness through her extensive research background and techniques such as acupuncture and physical therapy.

Not only are Dr. Williams' interests aligned with catering to women's health, but she also believes in giving back to her community, which spans around the world through her many travels. Her dedication to the welfare of women is the reason why she travels every year to communities in need such as the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cambodia, Ghana, and the Philippines to perform necessary gynecologic surgeries.

After opening her most recent location in Lakeview, her third institute, Dr. Williams teamed up with the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention program to offer free mammograms, pap tests, and other resources to women in need.

For Robinson, as the founder of Budzy Box, the only Black woman-owned luxury CBD subscription box for women, she's defying the odds and paving the way for others to follow. Robinson uses her vast industry knowledge of CBD and status as a pharmaceutical and medical device sales rep to incorporate health & science at the core of each product included in her boxes.

As a proud Black woman entrepreneur, Robinson's passion lies in breaking the stigma of CBD for women as a whole. Robinson also graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor's in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and became the first Black woman to launch a food truck in Chicago.
