Easter is a wonderful time to get creative in the kitchen with your kids, and there's no better way to bond than by whipping up some sweet, festive treats together.
So roll up your sleeves, grab the sprinkles, and get ready for some delicious Easter fun the whole family can enjoy!
1 box cake mix (plus eggs/oil/water as directed) 1 tub white frosting Mini marshmallows Pink sprinkles Candy eyes and pink jelly beans (for nose)
Bake cupcakes according to package instructions. Let cool. Frost with white frosting. Cut marshmallows in half diagonally and dip sticky side in pink sugar for ears. Add eyes, nose and marshmallow ears to each cupcake.
3 tbsp butter 1 package mini marshmallows (10 oz) 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal Cooking spray or butter Mini chocolate eggs or jelly beans
Melt butter in a large pot, then stir in marshmallows until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies.
Let cool slightly, then grease your hands and shape into small nests. Place on wax paper and add 2–3 candy eggs in the center of each.
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz) 2 cups cold milk 1 container whipped topping (like Cool Whip, 8 oz)
1 package chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed Easter candies: gummy worms, mini eggs, Peeps, etc. Clear plastic cups (small size is perfect for kids)
In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken. Gently stir in the whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
Put cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until they look like "dirt." Spoon a layer of pudding mix into the bottom of each cup. Add a layer of crushed cookies. Repeat layers if cups are bigger or just go for a thick cookie topping.
Top with gummy worms, Easter egg candies, or a Peep chick/bunny to make it festive. Chill until ready to serve, or let the kids dig in right away!
