The MET Gala was last night and as much as Rihanna's slay was anticipated, she was unable to attend because of the flu. Here's a look back at all her previous iconic Met Gala looks.

Rihanna made her first Gala debut in 2007 dressing in a beautiful floor length white gown and holding a single rose. The theme was “Poiret: King of Fashion."

To honor the year's theme of “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion", Rihanna wore her own take on classic mens fashion with this puffy tuxedo.

This timeless black lace dress was worn in honor of this nights “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" theme.

Ri was really showing us her batgirl era when sporting this Tom Ford dress. The theme was “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations."

To celebrate “Charles James: Beyond Fashion," Rihanna wears what she says was one of two of her favorite Met Gala look so far.

The other of Rihanna's, and our, personal favorite looks was this beautiful yellow gown she wore for the 2014 “China: Through The Looking Glass" theme.

For the Galas “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between" night, Ri chose this vibrant and show stopping statement piece.

In 2018, RiRi stole the show iwith this beautiful beaded John Galliano gown. The theme was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination."

At the “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion," she blew us away with this Black design by Balenciaga. 

In true Rihanna fashion, she didn't let her pregnancy or a new life of motherhood stop her from outperforming every other look for thes nights “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”

It's safe to say that much like Rihanna herself, her Gala looks only get better with age.
