The Met Gala stands as an annual beacon of glamour and spectacle in the world of fashion. Every year, the Met transforms into a stage for the most illustrious.

This year's event was themed “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” with the dress code "The Garden of Time."

Among the stars, one name shines brighter: Zendaya. Renowned for her impeccable fashion and willingness to push boundaries, she's become synonymous with Met Gala excellence.

With each passing year, fans eagerly anticipate Zendaya's arrival, anticipating what she'll wear next. This year was no different and she was sure to not disappoint.

She gave us not one but two showstopping statement outfits for the 2024 Gala, so let's dive into what the inspiration was for these iconic looks.

Zendaya first introduced herself on the red carpet wearing this striking floor-length gown with a matching headpiece.

This looks gives us Pecock inspired cloture with a mixture of blue, black and green beaded accents and a large feather placed delicately atop her headpiece.

Her dress was taking inspiration from Margiela designer John Galliano’s spring cloture 1999 collection for Dior.

As an added bonus, Zendaya kept the vintage vibes going by stunning us in yet another John Galliano gown paired with a hat mirroring a bed of roses.

The gown was taken from a 1996 John Galliano cloture collection. The hat, however, is designed by Philip Treacy for an Alexander McQueen collection in the earl 2000's.
