Rihanna fans believe that if it weren’t for Rihanna’s status as a mogul and leading influencer, Muaddi would not have in fact received the same amount of attention her brand is currently receiving today, as well as arguing that Rihanna created a platform for Muaddi to rise as a celebrity shoe designer. “The way Rihanna has leveraged Amina Muaddi’s visibility, as a brand and as a designer. The loyalty she has towards the brand, every time she steps out she is in some Amina’s. If this is true I don’t know what to say. This is bad for business, bad for friendship, just bad.” A fan wrote on Twitter.

Her parents divorced when she was six and learned that money is not the root of happiness.

After her parents divorced when the designer was six years old, Muaddi recalls her childhood to be a blur. She recently talked to Vogue about her upbringing in Jordan and how her life changed upon moving to her mother’s home country, Romania.

“My childhood is a blur,” she says. “I wasn’t aware of what my mom did to help me as a child and it took me years to understand. The opportunities I have today are mostly because she took me out of Jordan. Not because it’s not a good place to live, but because my dad is very conservative and probably would not have liked for me to have a career.” she adds to Vogue in an exclusive interview. “That’s why it’s hard for me to talk about my life – it’s not as easy as it looks. I’ve been through everything; situations when I had a lot, and when I had nothing. When you experience both these worlds, you know what is really important. Money offers security, safety and comfort but definitely never happiness.”

10.

She disclosed, “I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile. She continues. “I initially assumed that this fake gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously. ‘However, in the last 24h, I’ve been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off-limits. Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated times in one’s life. Therefore I have to speak up as this is not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for,” said Muaddi on her Instagram Friday morning.
