Expanding your makeup collection can be exciting, fun and expensive. However, you don’t have to break the bank to look good and experiment with new makeup looks. Personally, I can't get enough of eyeshadow palettes; I love playing around with different shades and experimenting with new techniques.

Palettes can be expensive, though, and it’s upsetting to have to stick to safer shades (that I know I’ll get a lot of use out of) because it would be financially irresponsible of me to throw $50 at a palette on a whim. If you’re a fellow beauty lover like me, no worries — I’ve found some incredible eyeshadow palettes for $25 or less. Check out these palettes that you can add (for cheap) to your makeup arsenal!

Nyx Cosmetics Lid Lingerie Shadow Palette, $10

This six-shade palette has some basic (but important) neutral matte shades. The dusty lavender shade is one that you don’t see often!

Makeup Revolution Flawless 4 Eyeshadow Palette, $15

This palette is great if you’re looking to expand your shade range to include more pinks! You can use it for fun upcoming spring and summer looks.

Pacifica Beachy Punk Mineral Eyeshadows, $18

I love palettes that feature unusual color schemes! This one shows off some cooler shades that would be so fun to experiment with.

Nyx Cosmetics Ultimate Shadow Palette in Brights, $18

Everyone needs a rainbow eyeshadow palette. I don’t know what for, but it feels like it would be necessary at some point in the future. These bright vibrant shades offer variety and funk.

Nyx Cosmetics Ultimate Shadow Palette in Smokey & Highlight, $18

Nyx really knows how to put out an eyeshadow palette. I love the inclusion of the kelly green shade. This palette is perfect if you’re looking to start trying smokey eye looks.

Karity Just Peachy Palette, $25

Many palettes feature orange and red shades for warm eyeshadow looks to brighten up your face. Fittingly enough, this palette is called Just Peachy.

Karity Unicorn Dreams Palette, $25

This palette is just FUN. It includes fantastical shades, and I love that there are matte and glitter shades to play with.

Kathleen Lights X Colourpop Dream St. Pressed Powder Palette, $16

This palette is beautiful and sophisticated. There are both cool and warm shades so you can create an incredible variety of looks.

Colour Pop My Little Pony Pressed Powder Palette, $16

Photo: Colourpop

Even though this is a My Little Pony-inspired eyeshadow palette, you’re not going to want to share this with a younger cousin or sibling. Similar to the Karity Unicorn Dreams Palette, this is a fun, fantastical palette that serves real '80s vibes.

Juvia’s Place The Saharan II Eyeshadow Palette, $21.50

Photo: Juvia’s Place

This palette will take your eyeshadow look to a level that is probably hotter than the Sahara Desert. And the shadows have next-level pigment!

BH Cosmetics Glam Reflection Shadow Palette in Smoke, $16

This palette is another one that features cool and warm tones, but the inclusion of the sky blue makes it a really interesting combination! 15 shades for $16 isn’t a bad deal, either!

Morphe 35P Eyeshadow Palette, $23

Photo: Morphe

This palette is perfect if you’re looking to experiment with darker shades and cooler tones. It’s hard to find various shades of purple eyeshadow with different undertones, which makes this palette all the more enticing!

Morphe 35W Eyeshadow Palette, $23

This is another great palette if you’re looking to expand your shade range. Although it’s mostly warm browns, the inclusion of a few pinks and purples switches it up, and the colors are great for everyday use.

Beauty Glazed 15 Shade Pressed Glitter Palette, $9.88

I don’t think I even need to explain the appeal of this palette. It’s 15 shades of pressed glitter. What more could you want?

e.l.f. Cosmetics Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette in Summer Breeze, $10

Photo: e.l.f. Cosmetics

I love this palette. The inclusion of the peachier shades and that strong magenta make it stand out from other warmer matte palettes!

E.l.f. Cosmetics Velvet Touch Eyeshadow Palette in Island Breeze, $12

Photo: e.l.f. Cosmetics

E.l.f.’s Velvet Touch palette includes six velvet shades that will apply like a powder but melt into the skin like a cream, leaving a dewy finish. Creamier eyeshadows are so difficult to find, and the shades in this palette remind me of a tropical vacation.

E.l.f. Cosmetics Velvet Touch Eyeshadow Palette in Cool Mist, $12

Photo: e.l.f. Cosmetics

This is the other Velvet Touch palette produced by e.l.f. The shades in this palette are perfect for the winter months, and that royal blue is absolutely gorgeous. For $12, I can buy both, right? Right?
