The last of the “Big Four” fashion events, Paris Fashion Week, is happening.

It’s no wonder that Paris is the fashion capital of the world. The September fashion week is just one of two fashion weeks that the City of Lights hosts each year — not counting the men’s and haute couture events.

Millions of people and the crème de la crème of the fashion world flock to Paris in late September for one of the largest ready-to-wear shows in the industry. For eight days, the most iconic fashion houses from Saint Laurent, Chanel, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy and many more put on iconic events. This Paris Fashion Week, we are keeping an eye on a handful or Black fashion icons.
