And regardless of whether you agree with her strenuous workouts or not, we’ve definitely learned a thing or two when it comes to getting our bodies in shape from Ms. Harvey.
Pilates Is Her Secret To Rock Solid Abs
In an interview with The Cut, Harvey shared that pilates has been the workout routine responsible for giving her that stunning bod.
“My go-to right now has been Pilates. I feel like that has completely transformed my body and really leaned me out and gives me long lean muscles versus like when I would just go to the gym,” she shared. “I love Pilates on the reformer, but I also like to incorporate hot pilates, which is really good to get a nice sweat. I love to sweat a lot in my workout because then I feel like I really did something.”

In this viral TikTok, Harvey took the time to share what inspired her pilates journey and actually credited it to her relationship with actor, Michael B. Jordan.
“When Mike and I got together, I gained like 15 pounds of relationship weight. And it was just horrible – none of my clothes fit. And it was just not okay,” she shared. “So I’ve been consistently doing pilates for like the last year – I’ve done it for a few years but I’ve been really consistent for the last year. And when I was trying to drop weight, I was working out five to six times a week. And for the first month and a half, I think I did two-a-days.”

Harvey then hopped back on TikTok to share her highly requested treadmill routine – and all we can say is whew! This routine is not a joke!
Discipline Is Pivotal To Success
In her interview with The Cut, Harvey also explained the importance of discipline when striving to achieve your desired fitness goals. And she even touched on the fact that you have to work your way up in building your stamina. Ultimately showing that fitness doesn’t have to be an overnight success story.
“Discipline isn’t an overnight thing, you have to take it day by day. I don’t recommend doing crash diets because it can be a little bit harder to stick with from my own personal experience,” she shared. “Gradually just making small lifestyle changes over time you’ll start seeing progress. My ideal workout routine now is five to six times a week, but I had to work myself up to that.”

In an interview with NY Mag, Harvey shared that she loves to drink celery juice on a daily basis and it even has added fitness benefits.
“I drink celery juice first thing in the morning, every single morning. I’ve been doing it for at least three years. One of my trainers swore by it and got me hooked. It’s great for digestion and inflammation and is a good source of antioxidants,” she shared. “If you want a flat tummy, it’s really good for that, too. It tastes like a very healthy green juice – not the best taste, but you get used to it after a while and the results are worth it.”
