These themes are frequent throughout the songs of Memphis’ GloRilla, who hasn’t confirmed any romances blossoming during her time in the spotlight but has admitted to a history of dating toxic partners. For the most part, the Southern superstar is focused on helping Yo Gotti’s CMG records reach new heights after signing to him in 2022, but that doesn’t mean she’s not open to finding love with the right person.
Rap Diva Went Viral While Crushing on Damian Lillard
In the spring of 2024, GloRilla announced that her eyes were locked on recently divorced NBA star Damian Lillard during All-Star Weekend. She shared a selfie with the baller, nearly breaking the internet with speculation of love (or at least lust) in the air. When speaking with TMZ, Lillard responded “No comment” to questions about whether he got in touch with the “Tomorrow 2” hitmaker. However, she later posted up in a custom GloLillard jersey that only added fuel to the fire.
Interestingly, the athlete’s ex, Kay’La, clearly isn’t a fan of him moving on with Glo. After the latter was arrested for a DUI in April, Lillard’s co-parent re-posted her smiling mugshot on Instagram and wrote, “Free GloLillard #sisterwife.” When addressing the drama, the femcee tweeted, “Whoever she is she can’t whoop me so I really [don’t give a f**k].”
Unfortunately, GloRilla’s Experiences With Men Haven’t Been Great
When it was her turn to sit down with Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast, GloRilla played coy when the host asked about her new crush. “At the end of the day, the day gon’ end,” she declared. “OK I’ll leave it at that,” Sharpe responded. “Because he said no comment [and] you said, ‘Hey at the end of the day, it’s the end of the day.'” Elsewhere in her conversation with the NFL icon, the CMG signee hot real about her messy dating history, which allegedly involved men trapping her and busting out car windows. While she continues to find herself and grow as an artist, it seems Glo is living life in the single lane, or keeping the public out of her private business.
