All Angel Reese does is win.

Ever since she won the national title last month, Reese has carefully established a collection of NIL deals. The sports star’s blossoming social media presence and popularity have also boosted her brand. Now, thanks to a new endorsement deal with Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge, Reese is the newest owner of a brand new Mercedes Benz EQS580. The “Bayou Barbie” unveiled her new EQS580 on social media.

“Why not get a new car when it’s your 21st birthday week,” Reese wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, Mercedes-Benz Baton Rouge, for helping me purchase my new car! This is a gift to myself for everything that I’ve accomplished in 1 YEAR, but I wouldn’t be the Bayou Barbie without Bayou Traditions and MatchPoint Connection.”

With an impressive record last season, including an average of 23 points and 15.4 rebounds per game, Reese is gearing up for a second title with the Tigers, and there are many exciting things on the horizon for the soon-to-be 21-year-old.

National Attention

Reese received national attention after her celebration aimed at Iowa’s Caitlin Clark in the championship game. She became a known name in the culture almost overnight after the viral incident. As part of an endorsement deal, Reese served LSU students during the lunch hour at Raising Cane’s, along with Flau’jae Johnson. The two also partnered with Campus Ink to release limited-edition jerseys. Recently, the baller appeared at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Baton Rouge, and Leaf Trading Cards released an autographed card featuring Reese. Caktus AI, which has previously worked with other athletes such as Livvy Dunne, Matt Bradley, and Miami’s Cavinder twins, also signed an endorsement deal with Reese.

Although she is only at the beginning of her career, Reese has joined a small group of 22 college student-athletes whose valuation has surpassed seven figures. Currently, Reese is a sophomore at LSU and will continue playing with the Tigers for at least another season before transitioning to the WNBA.
