Angel Reese, NIL Deals, and More

Reese stays in her bag when it comes to sponsorships. She received the “highest paid” player title in the NCAA tournament. After her contributions to Louisiana Women’s Basketball team’s first national championship earlier this year, she has obtained several NIL deals. Reese earned 17 NIL deals totaling $392,000 per year with companies including JanSport and Xfinity. Recently, Reese became the new face of the Black-owned haircare brand, Mielle Organics.

It’s no surprise she is leaning into deals with beauty companies. The basketball star is known for her lashes and long nails hence, her nickname “Bayou Barbie.” Reese even filed a trademark for the nickname. She also appeared in Latto and Cardi B’s “Put It On The Floor Again” music video.
