While speaking to Morning Dose host Laila Muhammad in July for press surrounding Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Bassett shared three secrets to her fitness success. The first share was the love of a good esthetician and from the looks of her natural glow, we can see why. The second tip is eating clean at least 80 to 85% of the time by following a plan that works but is not too restrictive.

"I happen to follow one that sort of cycles through, like, Monday/Tuesday I may eat carbs, fruit. Tuesday/Wednesday I may do protein, veggies. Veggies everyday, no fats those four days and then the last three days I flood it with fat. Good fat, though. Maybe coconut oil, salmon, almonds, almond butter, olive oil, walnut oil. That sort of thing. I don’t do any dairy. I don’t do any bread flour. I’ll do Ezekial bread which is sprouted, sprouted bread."

And her third point is working out with her trainer, which keeps her on track, early in the morning because her will to workout diminishes as the day goes on. Bassett also joked on the days she is "fat-flooding" her activity may include deep-breathing, yoga and a massage but she doesn’t really go for the yoga, she just wants to massage!

During an interview with Porter, she said she works out with her trainer four to five times a week when she’s home in LA but if she is traveling, she will try to hit the hotel gym to get in 30 minutes of cardio and maybe lift some weights.

Bassett’s fitness routine does not seem impossible but you have to be committed, create a realistic regime (workout and food-wise) and have fun with your journey!
