-Arielle has worked in the media industry for 15 years and has been with Blavity Inc. since 2022. -She graduated from the University of Miami in 2008 with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Creative Writing. Arielle Clay is the Deputy Editor for 21Ninety. A true lover of connection and communication, she has dedicated her career of 15 years to telling stories. Her roles in the media industry have ranged from on-camera television anchor to digital content creator. Arielle specializes in lifestyle content specifically beauty, fashion and relationships. She loves exploring trends and thinking deeply about topics that matter to her audience. Arielle’s career began at a small television station in Augusta, GA where she was an anchor and one-man-band reporter shooting, writing and editing all her own work. Since then she has worked at a variety of television stations across the southeast including in Durham, NC and Birmingham, AL. In 2022 Arielle made the shift away from traditional television news and joined Blavity Inc. In this new role she has had the privilege to explore her passions by creating content around subjects that truly excite her.
