Marcie Williams is a lover of all things journalism and is excited to be a Writer/Contributor for 21Ninety. She enjoys writing about motherhood, wellness and beauty. Marcie earned a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Albany State University, a historically Black university in her hometown of Albany, Georgia. That's also where she started a career in television broadcasting as a news producer. Over the last 10 years, Marcie's work in local television news has taken her to Columbia, South Carolina, and Washington, DC before deciding to call metro Atlanta home. In 2018, she was awarded a regional Emmy for best newscast covering the 2017 total solar eclipse. Marcie currently works at Fox 5 Atlanta as the producer of the #1 rated 10 am hour of Good Day Atlanta. In this role, she is responsible for producing lifestyle and entertainment interview segments with celebrities, chefs, travel experts, activists, and more. In her spare time, Marcie enjoys spending time with her daughter, shopping, nature walks, and listening to podcasts. You can find her on Instagram, Tiktok and X (formerly Twitter).
