It is without a doubt that the past two years have been a whirlwind for all of us. From what seems like a never-ending virus with a wide set of new variants to a new national threat known as Monkeypox, I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all just about had it with sicknesses and illnesses.
All in all, we’ve come a long way from navigating an ongoing pandemic and have pretty much understood the proper ways to help protect us from receiving and therefore transmitting viruses. Whether it’s mask-wearing, especially in highly populated areas indoors and outdoors, or washing hands frequently, to name a few.
And though washing our hands is one of the key aspects to prevent the spread of illness, we’re not always in a position to wash our hands, which is why hand sanitizing is our second best option for staying healthy- though it’s not always pleasant to use. “I was visiting the US while in college and realized that the hand sanitizer experience is so unpleasant–from drying out your skin to the horrible smells and goopy formulas. I thought to myself how is this everyday essential so awful to use? From there, I began working in the sanitizer industry to learn the ins and outs and to help innovate and change what was missing from the past two decades—and that’s how Touchland was created,” said Andrea Lisbona, founder of the cult- favorite hand sanitizer brand Touchland.
And though hand sanitizers can often dry out our hands, we’ve found all of the best for the protection of you and others around you that are nourishing and effective to use.
