To find the best of the best, 21ninety spoke with members of the Shades by Shan team. ounder, Shan Berries, advanced esthetician and makeup artist, Ileana Molina and makeup artist, Charity Maestas offered up some advice.
“Look for long-wearing ingredients such as dimethicone or other silicone-based compounds,” Berries said.

The experts suggest that prior to applying any lip product, exfoliate your lips to improve their appearance and prolong the product’s longevity. Another tip is to use a lip liner before applying your gloss. It will keep the color and look of the gloss longer than if you apply the lip gloss alone.
