Beyoncé and Alicia Keys had a lovely night out to dinner during their recent trips to New York City.
Keys took to her Instagram page to share the photo of herself and Beyoncé enjoying their meal. The two were all smiles in the snap. Fans quickly took to the photo’s comment section to hype up the picture of the singers spending some time together. The image even went viral on Twitter.
The photo was part of a carousel of images Keys shared, including her attending an event for her Keys Soulcare brand and a photo outside the new Jay Z exhibition at the Brooklyn Public Library. Beyoncé was in New York City herself for the opening of The Book of Hov exhibition. The singer was spotted at the library on July 13 for the kickoff event for the exhibition. The Book of Hov officially opened to the public on July 14.
Both Beyoncé and Alicia Keys have been super busy over the past month.
Beyoncé has been moving through her Renaissance World Tour dates after launching the US portion of the tour.
The Renaissance World Tour’s most recent stop was in Louisville, Kentucky. And Beyoncé had yet another memorable moment from the stage when she told a concertgoer that they “are the visual” — in response to continued questions from fans about the whereabouts of the videos from the hit album.
Meanwhile, Keys has also been hitting the stage as she travels the nation for her Keys to the Summer Tour. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight ahead of her tour’s debut show on June 28, Keys said she was excited about the show’s massive 360-degree stage setup.
“Honestly, the lights, the content, these big, huge screens and everything is just really artistic, beautiful, powerful and fun. Because [these are the] keys to the summer,” she said.
She added that she was looking forward to fans getting to experience the show and the stage design.
“I was freaking out, I was screaming and I was like, ‘It’s better than I even thought,'” she said in reference to the stage setup. “There are some really special pieces. We’re using a lot of lasers on this show which creates edges and lines that are very special and sculptural. And obviously, it’s just a new way for me to perform. I’m figuring out now kind of how I utilize this perimeter and how I want to kind of work the room with it.”
