Bleu’s evolution as an artist in 4 years is no surprise. His talent was more than apparent when he first stepped on the scene and his music catalog continues to get better with time. He and Nicki Minaj drop beautiful visuals for new single “Love In The Way”right on time as we transition from summer to fall.
The two teased the single a while back and shared its cover art photo on Instagram. Bleu describes his newest single as “a beautiful song.” He believes the song could be one of those “type songs that’s gonna live forever.” “Love In The Way” is sampled from UK artist Sam Tompkins’ “Whole” and he was very pleased with the outcome of the song.
Fans also took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the video and many pointed out the beautiful representation of brown-skin women in the video.
Its the way Bleu showcased so many beautiful brown skin women & it didnt feel like it was a marketing strategy. It all screamed I love the skin I’m in.”
Directed by Jon Primo, the video captured many dynamics of melanated women draped in African attire, exuding royalty.
Bleu expressed his thoughts on the video to VIBE, “In a world where Black women with melanin and darker complexions are not as highlighted and celebrated enough, it’s important to show just how beautiful blackness is.”

Weekend Fetish is becoming the go-to for major celebs and MUA’s and it’s amazing to see Bleu using his platform to pour into black women.
When they were chosen by Bleu’s team to help bring the vision to life for the new “Love In The Way” video, the ladies were ecstatic.
They could have chosen anyone, but they chose us and we are so grateful for the opportunity to show our customers what the product can look like on the big screen,” says Tawala.
