Cantu Beauty and Women Empowering Nations, a non-profit organization with a mission to provide mentorship, development, and exposure to young girls in minority-based communities, have officially partnered up to create a global initiative.

In an effort to accelerate female executive leadership worldwide, WEN and Cantu are joining forces to provide a series of career readiness workshops for minority women and young girls through an immersive experience of workshops that include exploring career development, public speaking, and professional branding resources to name a few.

The individual courses will be offered to a select few of 50 women from the ages of 17- 23 and are open to a variety of different countries such as Nigeria, South Africa, The United Kingdom, France, and The U.S.

The global initiative will feature a wide range of women of color in leadership that will recall their own journeys within the entrepreneurship industry, as well as pairing up with another series of virtual programs entitled, “GLOW” (Girls Leading Our World). The high-impact coaching experience begins in March and will continue until May 2022.

“Cantu Beauty has always been committed to supporting the next generation of female leaders by equipping them with the skills and resources to make a difference in their personal and professional lives,” said Dametria Kinsley, Cantu Beauty’s Global Vice President of Marketing. “Through our partnership with WEN we’re able to take our commitment to the next level at a larger scale to reach women of color all over the world.”

In addition to Cantu and WEN’s high-impact leadership initiative, one of the exciting features of the 2022 summit will showcase a Global GLOW experience, where 10 young women will be chosen to participate in The Cantu Global Fellowship which is a four-month internship experience at Cantu Beauty to gain hands-on experience working in the beauty space.

The fellowship will provide a monetary stipend and Cantu Fellows will receive an ample amount of leading industry experience that includes service projects, brand promotions, meet and greets, leadership sessions, and one on one workshops.

“We are elated to team up with Cantu Beauty on this program investing in the future and talent development of young women of color,” said Carlisha Williams Bradley, Women Empowering Nation’s Founder and Executive Director. “Young women receiving training from a company who makes products that caters to them and has a fellowship that addresses our unique cultural needs is rare. This partnership can change the career trajectory of young women around the world.”

Cantu Beauty and WEN are encouraging all women of color who wish to participate in the series to apply now at the link provided here. For more information be sure to follow Women Empowering Nations on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
