June is turning out to be an excellent month for rapper Cardi B! After teaming up with Latto for the viral “Put It On The Floor Again” single, the star is out and about for Paris Fashion Week. The Grammy Award-winner graced the Schiaparelli Show in a dramatic feathered, body-hugging custom dress.
The rapper stunned in a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture look designed by Daniel Roseberry, according to Schiaparelli’s official Instagram page. Roseberry is the current creative director of the French haute couture house.
Schiaparelli posted a video of the Bronx native modeling in the custom gown and captioned it “Cardi Couture.”
Cardi B’s custom dress had an oversized black feathered bolero paired with a black corseted gown with gold stitching at the bodice and gold buttons down the back. She also rocked a black cap, arms full of golden bangles, and the brand’s signature realistic body part accessory – golden ears as earrings. To go with the dress, Cardi B wore a bronze make-up look. She had a smokey gold cat eye and a nude lip and showed off a fresh white extra-long manicure for the occasion.
According to Billboard, Cardi B stunned star-studded attendees as she made her way to the front row of the Fall/Winter 2023/2024 show. She watched the collection’s debut alongside “Black-ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross.
This is Cardi B’s first fashion appearance since the Met Gala this year.
Cardi B Always Loved High Fashion
Cardi B has always expressed her love for high fashion. In 2020, she debuted in her first campaign for a luxury fashion house when she became the face of Balenciaga’s winter 2020 season. That same year, she became the first female rapper to be awarded by the FN Achievement Awards when she won the “Style Influencer of the Year” award. Christian Louboutin presented her with the honor.
