Model Chanel Iman confirmed she is pregnant with her third child. The Victoria’s Secret Angel debuted her baby bump in two consecutive posts to her Instagram page. Her boyfriend, New England Patriots player Davon Godchaux, was by her side in the images.
“Our family is growing and we are so excited to meet our new little one,” Iman wrote on her social media page.
The pair both wore white as they shared the news with followers. In the second post, Godchaux is seen kissing Iman’s stomach as the model looks down at him lovingly.
“God is great! It’s all been a blessing,” Iman wrote in the caption.
Iman is already the mother of two girls with her ex, Sterling Shepard. According to People Magazine, The New York Giants player filed for divorce in June 2021 citing irreconcilable differences. The split has involved some occasional drama. In July 2022, Shepard’s mother wrote a comment under an Instagram picture of Iman’s daughters and Godchaux’s son. She shared her dissatisfaction with the children spending time together since, according to her, Iman was still married. Despite the social media hiccup, the couple has continued to vacation together with their children in tow. Most recently, the party of five visited Nickelodeon’s Riviera Maya resort.
A Blossoming Romance
Iman and Godchaux made their relationship Instagram-official in April 2022. The two both shared pictures to their accounts from a trip to Coachella. Since then, they have gone on several overseas vacations together. Both often document their adventures and love on social media. Iman regularly refers to her beau as “big daddy.”
“Celebrating you Big Daddy. Happy Birthday! I love you,” Iman wrote in an Instagram caption.
Pregnancy Speculations
Before confirming her pregnancy, speculations were swirling about whether or not the model was in fact with child. On a recent romantic vacation to Miami, paparazzi photographed Iman gently placing her hand on her stomach. The two have yet to reveal when their child together is due. However, a comment left under Iman’s announcement post may be an indication of the couple’s future.
“My love my everything! Soon to be mine forever,” Godchaux wrote.
