The summer has us in a chokehold with new music, but it appears the fall may be bringing us more heat with two of our fave’s from ATL.
It’s definitely a vibe with Ciara and Summer Walker who have teamed up to give us #BetterThangs that will drop 9/30.
Judging by the title and the previous commonality of the women progressing from toxic relationships, one can only imagine that the song may be in the vein of progression.
This isn’t the first time the duo have worked together. Ciara gave her coveted prayer to Summer Walker for her song Ciara’s Prayer.
Promo for the song, Better Thangs has been released with Ciara donning Tangerine tresses and a bottom grill while Summer Walker gives us teal water dreams with a bottom grill as well.
Both ladies pay homage to LL Cool J’s “Around the Way Girl” motif with the Gold bamboo earrings, fly girl acrylics, white tanks and denim dukes and gold jewelry.
Summer Walker last album Still Over It gave us the anthem to our heartbreak in 2021. Since then she has released several songs this year with the latest being Queen Space.
Between her new skin care line OAM Skin, LITA, amongst other business ventures and the rhythmic song Jump, Ciara has been in her creative energy.
