The saying goes “everything’s bigger in Texas” and if there’s one Houston girl whose giving that new meaning it’s rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Everyone’s favorite hottie is adding some big moves to her business portfolio as she just announced a huge partnership with fast food brand Popeyes. Not only will the newly minted face of brands like Coach and Calvin Klein have a new sauce at the chicken chain, she’ll also be opening her very own locations. Get the bag, sis! “I’m appreciative of Popeyes commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes Restaurants,” said Megan Thee Stallion in a statement. “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur. I’ve always been a fan of the Popeyes brand and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join the brand and help create the new Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce for their line-up.”

The main component of the new partnership is the Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce made with honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper. Starting Oct. 19, fans can experience the sauce on the chain’s chicken sandwich or as a separate dipping sauce for a limited time. To promote the new collaboration, Popeyes released a Western-inspired short visual featuring Megan’s alter ego, Tina Snow, as a bandit after her new sauce. The short includes animation by artist McFlyy. “Popeyes one-of-a-kind partnership with Megan Thee Stallion goes well beyond the average marketing collaboration. We are unifying two pop culture icons and Megan’s innovative, creative and entrepreneurial vision is at the core of everything we’re doing,” says Sami Siddiqui, President of Popeyes Americas, in a statement. “And, more than that, we are thrilled to welcome Megan to the Popeyes franchisee family and look forward to working closely with her over many years as she begins her journey as a restaurateur.”  

Fans of the rapper also have merchandise to look forward to. Thee Stallion and Popeyes will release three limited edition collections with the first—entitled “Thee Heat”—will become available next week while the others will be released in November. In addition, Megan and Popeyes will make a six-figure donation to Houston Random Acts of Kindness, a nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of the Houston community. Megan discussed the company’s generosity via Twitter saying, “Also shout out to Popeyes Bc I asked if they could partner with me to make a donation to a non profit organization in Houston called Houston Random Acts of kindness and they did it with no hesitation”. We love to see it.
