Cynthia Bailey is ready to move on with her life after her divorce from ex-husband Mike Hill. In a recent episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” she opened up to cast member, Kandi Burruss, about what she wants for her life now.

““You know it just sucks when — you know, this is my second divorce and it’s like, ‘Wow.’ On one hand, I don’t want to stay in something if I’m not happy,” she said. “But then, you know, I wake up, and the reality is, I’m a 55-year-old woman.”

She continued to share that the split isn’t necessarily something she’s happy about, but she is looking forward to what is to come.

“So here I am, starting all over again. I am very disappointed that my marriage did not work out. God is moving my steps, even if it’s away from my last marriage,” she said to Burruss.

Even though the divorce may have taken a toll on Bailey, the TV personality said in the episode that as a Pisces, she will always “live for love.”

Cynthia Bailey’s Divorce

Bailey and her former husband, Mike Hill filed for divorce in 2022 after two years of marriage. In exclusive statements to PEOPLE, both Hill and Bailey shared their thoughts.

“God does not make mistakes! I truly believe in my heart Mike coming into my life was destiny. I jumped in, both feet first and gave it my all,” Bailey said to the outlet.

Hill’s remarks displayed a sense of gratitude for what the marriage was between the two. He said that he will always love her and that she is a phenomenal person.

“Even though our relationship is ending, our friendship remains rock solid and for that I am grateful,” he shared. “Honestly, we’ve been thinking about going our separate ways for the last few months, so it was good for us both to have that time to process it all privately and I can smile knowing she’ll always be there for me as I will be for her.”
