Darius Jackson, the father to Keke Palmer’s child, has come out to clear the air on reports that allege he has moved on from their relationship. On Friday, Jackson took to his Twitter account to call the reports that have emerged in the past few days, false.

“I haven’t spoken to anyone about anything or gave permission to anyone to speak for me.. So all these sites & post about me making any type of statement is false..,” he said in a post on Twitter/X.

On Wednesday, People Magazine reported that a source close to Jackson revealed he was moving on from the relationship. The source claimed Jackson planned to focus on his acting. They alleged the pair was separated but seamlessly co-parenting their young son. Neither Palmer nor Jackson have confirmed the status of their relationship.

The “Outfit” Problem

In July, Jackson publicly called Palmer out for an outfit she wore while she attending an Usher concert. On Twitter, he quoted a video of Palmer getting serenaded by Usher himself at the concert, writing, ““It’s the outfit tho.. You a mom.”

Despite the onslaught of backlash directed towards him, with many calling out his hypocrisy and pulling up bigoted tweets he has made in the past, Jackson doubled down on his initial statement.

“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case,” his statement read.

Jackson would go on to delete his account 24 hours later.

Since the incident, Keke Palmer has continued attending to work obligations, including announcing a tour, teasing new music and working with Usher in a new music video. She hasn’t expressly spoken about the issue.
