I’ve read a lot of posts about a quick trick to attaining sultry eyes: waterling. However, I didn’t start wearing the trend until about a week ago and it was out of desperation. I don’t think I had anything in my bag other than an eye pencil and a friend of mine asked me to go to a bar unexpectedly. I don’t like using eye pencils to line the top of my eyes (I prefer gel liners), so I just randomly lined the bottom waterline.

And I sort of, kind of…love it.

It’s a slight difference you’ll see in the shape of your eyes, but I think waterling adds a sultry aspect to your look. If your eyes are round and you want to sex them up, you can waterline with a charcoal, navy or black eye liner and just bring the line out a bit past the corner of your eye to get an “almond” effect.

If you’re going to try this trend, make sure you use a waterproof liner. If you’re afraid of the liner damaging your eyes, go for an eco-friendly liner. See some of my favorites below!
