Throughout history, many different musical artists have gone against the grain when it came to their style. Many show their creativity through their trendsetting choices. One artists who is pushing the fashion boundaries in this lifetime is none other than Doja Cat. The artist has always been known for standing out, but recently she may have taken it to the next level; by shaving her eyebrows completely off. Although you may question the appeal in something like an eyebrow-less face, this may just be one of Doja’s best style ideas. She often draws beautiful designs in that replace the eyebrow in a fun and creative way. Dare we say it, Doja’s eyebrows (or lack thereof) are the moment.

When Doja first shaved her eyebrows in August, she noticed that she had a birthmark under the hair. She now has used this new discovery to her advantage. The first look she created post-shave was a very basic yet bold red Y2K/tattoo styled brow. In the center where the birthmark would be, she drew faded gray hearts. This look was just the beginning of many more creative ideas to come.

This look was the start of Doja’s creativity. Using products from Glisten Cosmetics and Suva Beauty, she was able to create mini solar systems around her eyeballs. From the bright colors to the lines and shapes, this look was fun, flirty and innovative.

During Paris Fashion Week, Doja decided to dress up her eyebrows. Most people wear pearls on their neck and maybe even their ears. But not many people don the jewelry on their eyebrows. She lined the pearls up side by side to an eyebrows shape and slayed. The look was edgy and bold mixed with classy and upscale.

A Masterpiece

This look may not technically qualify as an eyebrow look, but we can’t skip over this without an honorary mention. While attending Vogue Magazine’s Vogue World show, many could have found it challenging to focus on the show with this artwork in their presence. This webbed skull design was the talk of the town for weeks. She even inspired some to recreate the look.

Doja has yet to disappoint with her creativity. In an interview with Vogue Magazine, she discussed the benefits of having shaved her eyebrows. “Yeah I shaved off my eyebrows but that allowed me to create a canvas for myself and for other incredible makeup artists.”
