From tenniscore to baggy silhouettes, sportswear has really come a long way throughout the years, and we’re completely here for it.

Over the course of the past decade, we’ve seen sportswear and athleisure make their way to a more woman-inclusive aesthetic, particularly spearheaded by the likes of Aleali May (one of fashion’s most noteworthy influencers) to Melody Ehasni (the creative director of Foot Locker’s Women’s Global initiative). And though sportswear has always remained unisex, it’s now finally coming to a place where women bosses are now taking over the spectrum.

All in all, women are finally taking up some much-needed space within the sports realm, and Melody Ehsani is no new contender when it comes to setting her mark.

The 42-year-old creative director and fashion enthusiast created her own empire after being named as Foot Locker’s first woman creative director. She has also partnered with notable footwear brands such as Reebok and Nike to create a more inclusive space of breaking barriers for women within sportswear and street style.

If Ehsani isn’t collaborating in the sneaker lab for her next hit silhouette, she’s busy partnering with Foot Locker to create an all-inclusive sportswear collection.

The L.A native is launching her very own athleisure line entitled, “You See Me.” The collection features a wide range of biker shorts, t-shirts, cargo pants, corsets, jackets, bucket hats, and more.

 Femininity Through Sportswear

Ehsani’s collection highlights femininity through the lens of sportswear and athleisure. Ranging in style and bold prints, Ehsani’s line offers a wide range of dope patterns for all women and genderfluid shoppers to enjoy.

“This collection was inspired by my thoughts and ideals, including the power of purpose and collective connectivity. I believe that when you do something with a sense of purpose and true intention behind it – there is nothing more powerful. If we choose to band together in big and small ways, we can progress collectively and individually. Using lots of rich fabrics and textiles, the ‘You See Me’ collection defines sportswear from a feminine vantage point, empowering its wearer,” said Melody in a statement.

Available For Purchase September 30
