2021 is fast approaching but don't use that as your excuse to put off getting out of your comfort zone and start living your dream life. Here are four pieces of advice to jumpstart your journey.

BE OK WITH DOING STUFF BY YOURSELF

One of the best ways to get out of your comfort zone is to be ok with doing stuff by yourself. Often we will wait for the approval of others to begin our lives. Yes, we should have wise counsel that we go to when we need advice but when it comes to just simply getting out of our comfort zone sometimes waiting on the approval of others can be the equivalent of a crutch that prohibits us from moving forward. If your goal is to get out of your comfort zones and start living your dream life, then consider being ok with doing things by yourself and without the constant approval from others in your life.

BE OK WITH YOUR DREAM LOOKING DIFFERENT THAN OTHERS

Our moms and grandmothers tried to tell us, "baby you're special." Take this as your reminder to get out of your comfort zone today. Your goal should start with learning to be ok with your dream looking different, even with those closest to you. This might be one of the hardest things to overcome as you begin to plan for your life ahead. But don't compare your dreams to anyone else. Comparison can hold you back from getting out of your comfort zone and going after the things you want. Everyone is made uniquely different so naturally, your dream life may vary from those closest to you.

BE OK WITH STARTING SMALL

Small steps can lead to huge breakthroughs as it pertains to getting out of your comfort zone. Don't despise small beginnings as these moments help you build confidence to keep going to reach your dream life.

BE OK WITH THE PROCESS

Lastly, one of the steps to begin living your dream life is to be ok with whatever part of the process you're in. Whether you've started identifying ways you can get out of your comfort zone or you've already started doing so. Be proud of the fact that you're actively (whether mentally or physically) making strides.
