Winnie Harlow is a Jamaican-Canadian model who rose to fame after appearing as a contestant on the twenty first cycle of America’s Next Top Model.

Since her rise, the model has served as a prominent spokesperson for the skin condition, vitiligo, graced the cover of numerous magazines, and appeared in various advertising campaigns for the likes of Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Swaroski, and Victoria’s Secret. And now the supermodel is leveling up her game and stepping into the lane of entrepreneurship.

Harlow launched Cay Skin, a cast-free line of sunscreens which are available in both “mineral and chemical formulas.” The brand includes a Universal Mineral Face Lotion with SPF 50, an Isle Glow Face Lotion with SPF 45, an Isle Lip Balm with SPF 30, an Isle Body Oil with SPF 30 and various bundles with different combinations of products.

The entire line is silicone-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and reef-friendly. And is dermatologist tested and formulated for all skin tones. The line features ingredients like sea moss which strengthens and protects the skin’s moisture barrier, niacinamide which revitalizes, tones and smoothes skin, and hydrating nectar which blends watermelon, pear and apple to replenish the skin.

Harlow decided to launch Cay Skin after “suffering a severe sunburn and sun damage from an all day photoshoot” which “permanently changed her vitiligo.” In an interview with Allure, she shared just how happy she was to bring her idea to life. She stated, “Sun care is skin care and Cay Skin is for everyone under the sun. I came into the industry at a time right before the break of diversity. It was still very much a struggle for me to get a start, but I always had faith in it. I was like, there needs to be a change and I’m happy to be a part of it.”
