Ever since Rihanna and ASAP Rocky took to the streets of Harlem, New York to share their pregnancy announcement with the world – the question that’s been on everyone’s minds is when is baby Rih Rih due? And will it be a boy or a girl?
The 34 year old business and music mogul finally answered one of our questions on March 12th, when she attended the opening of Fenty Beauty at Ulta. The singer shared that she’s currently in her third trimester of pregnancy, and even revealed that pregnancy hormones combined with her beauty and skincare lines help to enhance her flawless pregnancy glow and keep her energy levels high.
In an interview with Billboard, she shared, “There’s also those days, girl. Especially in the third trimester when you’re like ‘Oh, do I have to get dressed?’. Makeup for sure helps you feel like a real person.” She continued, “I just focused a lot on moisturizing and contouring. The face gets a little round and chubby. The nose starts to spread. Everything is a challenge, from getting dressed and how you’re going to do your makeup. But I like challenges. I like things that force me to be creative and create in new ways. And with beauty there’s so much you can do.”
We also learned that Rih Rih also likes Target – yes, you read that right. Soon after the Fenty Beauty event, Rihanna was spotted shopping at a Los Angeles Target location – browsing the aisles of baby items and adding clothes, onesies, socks and other items to her cart.
It appeared that Rihanna may have been shopping for a baby girl – as the singer was seen adding an orange dress into her cart. But viewer’s suspicions were immediately throttled when she followed up by adding boy items into the cart as well.
We may not yet know the gender of Rihanna’s baby, but one thing’s for sure – we’ve never seen anyone look this fabulous while browsing the aisles of Target. The singer rocked a $155 multi-color hoodie by Awake, a silver, glittery skirt by The Attico, and purple, bejeweled stilettos.
And since Rihanna always comes through in style, we can already suspect that her little bundle of joy will too. A source close to the expecting couple, told Entertainment Tonight, “This baby can have anything in the world, but more than anything this baby will be spoiled with love and attention. They will be very hands-on parents.”
