Suffering from dandruff or a dry/itchy scalp can be embarrassing, uncomfortable, and annoying. If you’ve been looking for a way to deal with your scalp, here are a few ways to banish those flakes forever:

Tea Tree Oil

Not only can tea tree oil clear up your skin, but it can also clear up your scalp! Keep your eye out for shampoo and conditioner with tea tree oil; but if you can’t find one, you can always grab a bottle of tea tree oil and add a few drops to products you already use.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix a quarter cup of apple cider vinegar with a quarter cup of water in a spray bottle. Spritz your scalp, then wrap your head and let it sit for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, wash your hair as usual. You can do this up to twice a week to soothe your itchy scalp and clear away dandruff!

Coconut Oil

Massage coconut oil into your scalp and let it sit for about an hour. Then, shampoo as usual! You can also look for shampoo and conditioner that already contains coconut oil.

Dandruff Shampoos

Sofia Vergara would definitely push you to grab some Head and Shoulders next time you’re at the grocery store. Dandruff shampoos can help decrease itching and inflammation, as well as clear away those pesky flakes.

P.S: if you’ve tried all of these remedies and nothing seems to be working, make an appointment with a dermatologist. There could be something more going on than just dandruff on your scalp!
