Issa Rae is adding jewelry designer to her résumé. The multi-hyphenate actress, writer and entrepreneur announced her jewelry collection with Cast, titled “Braeve.” Although this is her first time collaborating with a fine jewelry brand, Rae has worn Cast on multiple occasions, including this year’s American Black Film Festival and at the Academy Awards.

The “Braeve” collection features an assortment of 22 fine jewelry pieces that are modern enough to be worn everyday.
“Jewelry is my armor,” Rae said in an interview with Cosmopolitan. “It makes me feel powerful. It makes me feel like I belong in some of the rooms that I step in.”
