Connecting Black brands with their Black consumers is always important. Now, the Thurgood Marshall Fund is partnering with Ivy Beauty to do just that by giving scholarships to college students.
Ivy Beauty is partnering with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) to launch its Ivy Beauty scholarship program for the 2022 to 2023 academic year. The program will award 20 students who attend a TMCF member school in scholarship funds for the academic year 2023-2024.
Ivy is the parent company of brands, like i-ENVY, Red by Kiss, Kiss New York Professional, Ruby Kisses, Gold Finger and Mad Shade. Its mission is to encourage an unwavering commitment to ethics, integrity, and excellence. The company does so by offering consumers cosmetics of the highest quality, efficacy and safety. TMCF is the nation’s largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community. TMCF scholarships are merit and need-based. They address the growing financial needs of students attending college.
“We are so excited to be able to make a direct impact improving the lives on talented and deserving students offering them financial support and helping them further their education. At Ivy Beauty, we find it incredibly important to help the next generation succeed and flourish, and to support the lives of underserved communities,” a representative for Ivy Beauty said in a statement.
