Janet Jackson has made a major reveal about just how much she is enjoying her Together Again Tour.
During a recent ET interview ahead of her New York City show at Madison Square Garden, Jackson talked to Kevin Frazier about how she’s enjoying her time on the road.
“It’s the most fun out of all the tours, since Rhythm Nation, that I’ve had,” Jackson said about her tenth concert tour.
Jackson echoed her excitement over the Together Again show in a candid video she shared on her Instagram stories on June 7.
Jackson, her backup dancers, and other team members, stopped by the home of choreographer Brian Friedman during a tour break.
She shared several posts on her Instagram stories of them playing games and eating food during their meetup. In one post, she went into detail about how this has been her favorite tour since her Rhythm Nation World Tour in 1990.
Viral Tour Moments
Jackson’s 40-song Together Again show has been extremely successful. The popstar has sold out multiple venues as she’s made her way across the nation.
The tour has also performed well online with moments from onstage going vial. Jackson sparked a viral meme with her on-stage commentary about fans smoking in the audience. She also made headlines after an on-stage kiss with her backup dancer Dario Boatner. Many were shocked by the steamy moment while others commented that the onstage behavior was nothing new for Jackson.
Embracing Motherhood
In her interview with ET, Jackson called the tour special. It comes as she celebrates her 50th anniversary in the entertainment industry. The 56-year-old has hit the road as the mother of a now 6 year old son. Jackson revealed her desires around motherhood with Frazier.
“I wish I had two more babies,” Jackson told ET. “I love it. I’m just thankful God gave me Eissa.”
The Together Again Tour was set to wrap on June 21 in Seattle, Washington. But Jackson recently added an October 27 date in Lincoln, California.
