The actress and TV personality shared her thoughts on online dating, splitting the bill, and other relationship deal breakers she’s not budging on when it comes to living her best life within and outside of a relationship.
After the Brooklyn native recently revealed her thoughts on what it means to date within today’s modern day society, the Brooklyn native and actress disclosed to the shows guest host, Ciara, that she is “looking for someone that's nice, caring, considerate, spontaneous, God-fearing, and just a good person overall." Lala also shared that she believes dating apps are in fact successful when asking about the world of online dating, as well as disclosing how her dad used the app to find his wife.
“I haven't gotten there yet. But I know dating apps are successful,” Anthony shared before disclosing how her dad met his current wife with the dating app, Plenty of Fish.
“My dad actually met his wife on a dating app and they're married now and they're doing well,” the actress added.
During the show, the dynamic duo started to get real when discussing the hallmark of what makes a good relationship during a game of relationship deal-breakers. As Lala answered the series of deal-breaking dating scenarios, she shared that “splitting the bill” is not in fact a deal-breaker, and that flirting with her guy friends is off of the menu.
According to BET, the Brooklyn native also shared that she does not mind a significant other wearing socks and chewing loudly during sex. “Surprisingly, the actress and beauty entrepreneur does not mind someone wearing socks during sex or chewing loudly. “It’s not a deal-breaker, but I'm gonna tell you to get it together,” she playfully concluded.”
If there’s one thing we know about the Power star, it’s her ability to play a good part, as well as her ability to not take any nonsense. She also recently talked with The Today Show about taking her time when dating, and the importance of finding the right person.
