I want our motherhood to be seen outside of struggle… or strength… or all of the phrases that are so often used to describe black motherhood. Along with strength, I want to be known for our vulnerability. Along with the struggle, I want to be known for our joy. We carry the stories of our grandmothers within our DNA, woven together with our generation’s embrace and acknowledgment of self care… Deep belly laughs… Side Eyes…Happiness overflowing…Peace intact…Because we are all these things. Beautiful intentions are set for our @momsincolor event. We are here to celebrate our magic.
