I've decided to do a series of natural face masks specifically for eczema prone/dry/sensitive skin mainly because:

  1. 1. I have all three of these skin types.
  2. 2. These natural masks were honestly my holy grail.
  3. 3. They were so important to my skin care journey that I believed they all needed their own write-up.

It's 10 times easier to just go to the store and buy masks that claim to relieve dry skin. The only problem is that a lot of these products contain chemicals that can react badly with your skin or make it worse.

Before I get into the process of creating and using this mixture, here are the benefits of using this natural mask:

Safe for sensitive skin: Due to oatmeals anti-inflammatory properties, it soothes irritation and inflammation, which makes it suitable for all skin types.

Natural exfoliant: Oatmeal has natural exfoliant properties which makes it an amazing homemade scrub that gets rid of dead skin cells. Scrubs are a great way to achieve a brighter, more even skin tone.

Natural Moisturizer:  The honey in this masks does an amazing job in helping to repair your skins natural barrier, which helps your skin to produce its own natural oils.

What you will need

1. Ground oatmeal

2. Organic honey

3. Lemon juice

Put some grounded oatmeal in a container, add a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of lemon juice and a quarter cup of water. You can adjust these measurements as you see fit. Stir the mixture to form a paste then apply the mask to the face and neck for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, rinse your face with warm water and pat dry. Use this mask only 1-2 times a week.

The process is quick, simple, cheap, safe and will have your skin looking beautiful in no time, especially if you suffer from eczema or dry skin.
