Marsai Martin turned heads as she strutted her stuff for volume 4 of the Savage x Fenty fashion show.

Her Debut at Savage x Fenty Volume 4

Marsai Martin debuted a more mature style at the Savage x Fenty fashion show last week. She donned a multi-colored leopard print bodysuit that showed off her natural curves. To complete the look, she wore her hair in a sleek low bun that complemented her barely-there makeup.

But even though the young “Black-ish” actress turned 18 years old over the summer, many fans were upset by her new, “grown-ish” style.

Who is Marsai Martin?

Recognizing a lack of diversity in Hollywood, Marsai Martin set out to do something about it. So she started a production company called Genius Productions where she and her team create stories for television, features, and digital.

In an interview with Time for Kids, Martin explained why she started the company. “There aren’t a lot of young black girls in the film industry. Opportunities are limited. I wanted to create a company that’s diverse and inclusive, not just of black girls, but also of anyone who is underrepresented.”
