It all started with the death of George Floyd, a time that highlighted centuries of ongoing racism and discrimination the Black community has faced time and time again. What started off as a coalition of nationwide protests later turned into a revolution of supporting BIPOC brands that were made for us and made by us. As we continue to navigate a new way of life that has changed our perspective on well, everything, we should still continue to support the brands that are doing the work to make the fashion industry more inclusive. Here are ten up and coming designers to look out for this month that are all Black-owned and made with melanin in mind.
