Commonly referred to as the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan has built an impressive legacy for himself. His years in the league amounted to six NBA Finals MVP awards. He’s also launched an ultra-successful line of sneakers, and an accompanying $3.2 billion net worth. Not many can say they were awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by former president Barack Obama. However, it’s only one of the many achievements Jordan boasts.

So who does he share his fortune with? He and Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto married in April 2013. The pair welcomed twin girls Victoria and Ysabel in 2014. Though the two are ultimately a private couple, they frequently sail the seas together and living their best lavish life. Here’s what we know about the former NBA star’s wife.

Born in Cuba on March 26th, 1978, Prieto relocated to Miami when she was young, working for her parents’ company, at a hospital and in real estate in addition to modeling. She and Jordan met at a Miami nightclub in 2008, feeling an instant connection. The pair moved in together only a year later. Engaged by Christmas 2011, Robin Thicke and Usher performed at their wedding reception. Prieto gave birth to their twin daughters on February 9, 2014 while serving as stepmom to Jordan’s three other children. Prior to meeting the NBA star, Prieto briefly dated Julio Iglesias Jr., the son of Spanish singer Julio Iglesias.

She and Jordan’s life together is by all means luxurious, taking extravagant European vacations on their $115 million yacht. Their most recent overseas escapade was to St. Tropez and Barcelona, though their home residence is a Jupiter, Florida mansion.

Before Prieto, however, there was Juanita Vanoy. The two met while Jordan was only one season into his career and progressed through their relationship pretty quickly. Jordan and Vanoy wed at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on September 2, 1989. This was after giving birth to their first child. Married for 17 years, they were parents to Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine while Vanoy served as the heart of their Chicago mansion.

The two ultimately parted ways amicably in 2006, but not without a record-breaking payout: Juanita received a $168 million settlement, making it the largest celebrity divorce settlement on public record at the time.
