The Upshaws – April 18
The beloved sitcom returns to Netflix for its fifth season. Viewers connected with the Upshaws in 2021 and have become obsessed with the hilarious comedy. In this season, fans will watch as the Upshaws continue to experience the highs and lows of life. Mike Epps, Kim Fields, and Wanda Sykes star in the series, along with other high-profile guest stars.
King Richard – April 24
Although initially released in theaters in 2021, “King Richard” is making its rounds to Netflix later this month. The film stars Will Smith, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Demi Singleton, Saniyya Sidney and more highly acclaimed actors. The story takes audiences on the journey of tennis players Venus and Serena Williams, as they train to become the greatest athletes of all time with the help of their father.
TLC Forever – April 24
T-Boz and Chilli discuss the ins and outs of being in the legendary girl group in depth. The documentary features insight into the group’s internal battles, accomplishments and survival of their challenges, as one of the biggest girl groups. The special originally aired on Lifetime in 2023, but TLC fans can revisit the two-hour special at the end of April on Netflix.
