Paintbox for 3.1 Phillip Lim
The models on the 3.1 Philip Lim runway wore nail looks created by lead artist and Paintbox creative director Mabelyn Alva. The nail polish shades were selected based off of colors featured in the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring Summer 2024 collection.
Paintbox Nail Lacquer – Like Velvet
Paintbox’s Nail Lacquer in the color Like Velvet is the base to this chic runway nail look. It’s a cement color that’s not dull at all. This neutral can be worn on its own (like the runway look) or you can use it as an accent color. Like Velvet also works a softer French tip, too.
Paintbox Nail Lacquer – Like Glass
To seal in the nail look pictured above you’ll need Paintbox Nail Lacquer in Like Glass. Like Glass is a high shine top coat. It boasts a broad brush that gets to a large portion of your nail with each swipe – which saves you time. This reflective top coat truly delivers a clean salon-quality finish.
Sundays for Alice + Olivia
Fashion brand Alice + Olivia teamed up with Sundays founder Amy Ling Lin, to create nail art inspired by the upcoming spring summer designs. They ended up going with a range of colorful French tips for the presentation. “Colored skinny French manicures are effortlessly chic while white pearl effect nails are feminine, empowering, and versatile for all skin tones,” Lin said in a press release.
Sundays Nail Polish No.04
The base of this French nail is the Sundays Nail Polish in color No.04. This color is a soft creamy peachy-pink pastel. The color is similar to that of a natural nail. That’s why it’s able to create a seamlessly polished canvas for you to add your designs on top. Or, when you want a more muted look, use this color all over the nail by itself.
Sundays Nail Polish No.16
These nails are topped with the Sundays Nail Polish in color No.16. No.16 is a bright bold red. This standout color is one that’s perfect to act as an accent color. But, if you want the most in-your-face red look, then apply this color onto your entire nail.
Essie for Kate Spade
For Kate Spade’s Spring Summer 2024 presentation, celebrity nail artist Julie Kandalec crafted nail looks that coordinated with the brands variety of accessories. From similar color schemes to recreating prints on nails, Kandalec used Essie nail polishes to create the high-fashion looks.
Essie Gel Couture Longwear Nail Polish – Of Corset
The base is none other than Essie’s Gel Couture Longwear Nail Polish in Of Corset. This color mimics the natural nails by blending peach with pink and a touch of beige. This long-lasting color is truly the first step in the routine since it can be used without a base coat. Plus, it boasts a high-shine finish on its own. Best of all, when the Essie Gel Couture Clear Nail Polish Top Coat is applied it becomes chip-resistant for up to 14 days.
Essie Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish – Now or Never
Once the base is set, it’s time to get creative with Essie’s Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish in Now or Never. This polish is a neutral black that isn’t too blue or purple – just black. The included angled brush can be used for broad strokes over the nail. But, for more fine details, you’ll want to get a detail brush so you can fit all of the geometric shapes you’d like on your nails.
