Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is still captivating many, especially renowned celebrities. On Monday, actress and media personality Laverne Cox left a glowing, heartfelt review of her experience at the Renaissance tour. Cox posted a video of herself in black, leather gladiator gear dancing to Beyoncé’s “Before I Let Go”. In the caption of her post, the “Orange Is The New Black” actress said she felt “truly born again,” after her experience at the show. Cox attended the shows two nights in a row.

“One thing the queen said Sunday that she didn’t say Saturday is that it’s not about being perfect. She was giving herself permission and all of us permission to not have be perfect. And she’s clearly a perfectionist as am I. The miracle, the anointed gift of the permission to be imperfect, allows the divine spirit to enter. And bitch it entered from the first moment Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter emerged from the downstage trap door,” Cox wrote in the caption.

Cox went on to describe the dazzling spectacle of Beyoncé’s performance.

“The Queen Bey was possessed last night,” she said. “Her voice flows out effortlessly. Even when she growls or squalls, it’s never pushed. Her impeccable vocal technique is a testament to how a voice can grow and blossom after a 25 plus year career touring. This is truly remarkable.”

Even More Positive Reviews

Laverne Cox was not the only one reeling from Beyoncé’s much talked about show. Oprah Winfrey and best friend Gayle King were also in attendance at her Sunday show alongside Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles. Oprah shared a video on her Instagram dancing to “Break My Soul.”

The Oprah Daily account also shared a day after review from the media mogul who continued to reflect on the experience.

“I have never in my life experienced anything like that,” Oprah said. “I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t scream. I was in awe. I am in awe of that kind of talent. That kind of synergy. What it takes to do that. That kind of expression. That kind of anointing. I mean that is a thing that’s coming straight from a source that creates the planets.

Gayle shared that the concert was worth staying up on a school night for. She also revealed that Oprah was initially fearful about standing for 3 hours to see the show. She explained that she definitely got over that concern.

Last week, singer Jill Scott also left a heartfelt review from her attendance at the Chicago leg of the show.
