I’m sure you’ve heard the quote “empowered women, empower women” and it’s so very true. Black women are always hyping each other up and betting on ourselves when no one else will. Not only does this strong bond of sisterhood promote gender equality but it’s also one of the keys to success for a lot of women. A strong community of women empowering each other has lead to so many accomplishments, new inventions and “first times” in history.
Having a solid sisterhood and women you can look up to as well as learn from is essential for becoming the best woman and version of yourself. As we close out Women’s History Month we want to share inspirational messages from women we often look up to in society.
Think about your sister tribe, your mentors and community of women you empower and learn from during this time and share these quotes with them. Women have the ability to achieve whatever it is we want in life and with the help of each other we can accomplish whatever we set our minds to.
