Introducing ‘Yard Love’

Recently Reebok announced the launch of a new collection celebrating historically Black Greek organizations in the US. The collection titled, “Yard Love” will feature 14 different pieces a mix of hoodies and t-shirts. Hoodies are $65, while T-shirts are $25 each. Colors from the collection will include purple / gold, blue / white,red / white, pink / green, blue / gold, black / gold, and brown / gold.

“As a member of a historically Black Greek organization, January, the founding month of my sisterhood, is incredibly special to me,” said Portia Blunt, VP of Apparel at Reebok in a statement. “These communities foster a unique bond and heritage of service work that has been maintained for over a century. I am proud to have the opportunity to celebrate and honor the legacies of these organizations and create a capsule many of our team members can tell their
personal stories through.”

Reebok’s Commitment To Promote Diversity and Inclusion

This collection is a part of the long-term commitment by Reebok to promote diversity and inclusion. Reebok promised to do so in its United Against Racism commitments in 2020. In addition to the collection, Reebok will also be donating $25,000 to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).

It sends a strong signal to their consumers and its industry that racial justice and access to opportunity matters. Voice is as equally as important as a donation.”
